ABOUT ME
Introducing myself and share with you a bit about my formal training and personal qualifications.
I possess intensive education in commercial design and graphics from Mumbai, India. I also possess a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts also from Bombay University. I had the opportunity to work for a number of years as an Illustration and Graphic artist after my graduation. I decided that I wanted to expand my horizons, literally, and moved to the United States to further my education. At Jersey City University with a Master's in Visual Art. Further, I was able to explore my own fine art interests and developed a body of work that I have begun showing in local galleries.
My work, both fine and graphic art, was perceived to be of high enough quality that the department faculty awarded me a scholarship, an accomplishment of which I am most proud. I also had the opportunity of showing my work in numerous other renowned shows like the 14C Art show. And a collaborative work of art based on the BLM project sponsored by Art House Productions. I was privileged to be an important part of the fund-raising event at Jersey City during COVID-19.
Being a fine artist allows me to think creatively and conceptually in developing the “NEW”. I continually look to grow professionally as an artist in all aspects of my pursuits. My disposition, interests, and goals fit nicely within the creative industry.
